“Ephemeroptera” is scientific for “mayflies.” It means “short-lived winged ones.” Ironic, maybe, that I tend to write long form essays. They are, however, often about death. My work circles around examinations of interiority. I have an introvert’s solipsism.

I write and draw with a persistent longing for when things weren’t so atomized and quick, and I’d like to share it with you. I am not able to cultivate a brand or care about my SEO. About once every season I publish a full length essay. Those are free to all. Paid subscribers get weekly posts on works in progress, the creative process, and some other goodies. Plus, the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting my work as an independent artist and writer. Thank you for stopping by.
