Boundary conditions
Six months into an almost total separation from society, at least in a physical sense, I’d have expected to feel my own isolation acutely. I’d have expected to notice mainly the distances in my existence. Instead, what I am mainly aware of is a curious blurring of edges, a loss of a sense of where I end and the world begins.
